Brain Rot: Attachment to impermanence
Money, Drugs, Love. Stream of consciousness collage exploration, some fun with scan warps and lazy animation. Elements are derived from hand drawn as well as scanner warped elements; digitally arranged in Illustrator. I can never decide when a thing is done so I’m obsessed with digitizing and re-arranging to create something completely ‘other’. Meant to evoke the dopamine hit we get from the doom scroll here on social media mixed with my fear of commitment in exploring what a ‘finished piece’ is. Is an artist’s work ever truly finished?
